If The Vampire Diaries continues beyond its upcoming eighth season, it may have to do so without the help of its Head Witch in Charge.“Season 8 will be my last season,” Kat Graham, who has portrayed Bonnie Bennett since the CW series premiered in 2009 tells Us Weekly.
The Vampire Diaries was part of The CW’s mass renewal last month, which also counted TVD spinoff The Originals among its 11 pick-ups.
Graham promises the show’s eighth season — which very well could be its last, anyway — will be one for the history books. “Another season is a whole other year,” she says, “and we’re going to blow it out.”
