The surprisingly charming Lucifer has been renewed. It's a show that combines a whole lot of over done tropes (unrealistically precocious child, cop with a chip on her shoulder, bad guy who's not so bad after all), and some how makes it work. The devil's not so much terrifying as just a jack-ass who got The Job Nobody Wanted. Now that's there's a new season on the horizon, here's hoping they flesh Mazikeen out a little; it's the one area where they've been lacking. Bartending and kicking ass is great, but one hopes there's more to her. We've even had a little backstory for kill-joy Amenadiel.
