Sometimes you just can't even...

I've been quiet on here for a while. The election took up a lot of my time and focus; it's hard to think about light things when the fate of your country is at stake. Well the results are in and the worse has happened, and yet we must carry on. As a woman and a person of color I am well adept at handling frustrations and set backs, as well as navigating the conflicting feelings of being hopeful and simultaneously resigned to the limitations and prejudices of my fellow countrymen (and women). We will see how the next four years will unfold, but in the meantime a little levity is in order.
